01
Rinse & preheat
Place a filter in your dripper and rinse with hot water. This removes paper taste and preheats your vessel. Discard the rinse water.
— 30 sec
02
Bloom
Add your ground coffee and pour twice the coffee weight in water (e.g. 40ml for 20g). Stir gently and let bloom for 30–45 seconds. This releases CO₂ and primes the bed.
— 30–45 sec
03
Pour in pulses
Pour in slow, steady spirals from center outward in 3–4 intervals, maintaining a consistent water level. Aim to finish pouring by the 2:30 mark.
— 1:00–2:30
04
Draw down & serve
Allow the coffee bed to drain fully. Total brew time should be 3–4 minutes. If it runs fast, grind finer. If it stalls, grind coarser.
— to 3:30–4:00
Nuclear tip: Our medium & light roasts shine brightest here. Try Quarantine Blend or Atomic Sunrise for maximum origin clarity.

01
Preheat the press
Fill your French press with hot water and let it sit for 30 seconds. Dump it out. This prevents thermal shock from dropping your brew temperature.
— 30 sec
02
Add coffee & saturate
Add your coarsely ground coffee. Pour all your water in one go, making sure all grounds are saturated. Give a gentle stir to ensure even coverage.
— 30 sec
03
Steep — do not touch
Place the lid on top with the plunger pulled up, but do not press. Let steep undisturbed for 4 minutes. Set a timer — over-extraction is a real threat.
— 4:00
04
Press & pour immediately
Press the plunger down slowly and steadily. Pour all coffee into cups or a carafe immediately — do not let it sit on the grounds or it will over-extract.
— 30 sec
Nuclear tip: Ground Zero dark roast was engineered for this method. The full-immersion brew unlocks its deep chocolate and low-acid body at full power.

01
Combine coffee & water
Add coarsely ground coffee to your container. Pour cold, filtered water over the grounds. Stir to ensure all grounds are fully saturated. No heat. No hurry.
02
Cover & refrigerate
Cover your container and place in the refrigerator. Let steep for 18–24 hours. Longer steep = heavier body, more concentration. Don't go past 24 hours.
— 18–24 hrs
03
Filter & store
Strain through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean container. For clarity, do a second pass through a paper filter. Keeps refrigerated for up to 2 weeks.
04
Serve
Serve over ice as-is, or dilute 1:1 with water or milk for a lighter strength. This is concentrate — treat it like a loaded weapon.
Nuclear tip: Quarantine Blend or Ground Zero work best here. The cold process kills acidity and amplifies body — our roast style is built for it.

01
Use fresh, filtered water
The quality of your water matters. Use filtered or bottled water — not distilled. Tap water with heavy mineral content or chlorine will mute your coffee's flavor.
02
Rinse the filter
Run hot water through a fresh paper filter before adding coffee. This removes paper pulp taste and preheats the carafe. Small step, big difference.
03
Load & brew
Add your measured ground coffee, level the bed, and start the brew cycle. For best results, grind fresh immediately before brewing — pre-ground coffee degrades fast.
— 5–7 min
04
Pour & do not leave on the burner
Pour and drink. Coffee sitting on a warming plate is slow-roasting itself into bitterness. If you need to keep it warm, use a thermal carafe.
Nuclear tip: Want a stronger cup? Bump up to 3.5oz on a full 12-cup brew. All four blends work in drip — Quarantine Blend is the crowd-pleaser, Ground Zero if you want to feel it.
