When the world is reduced to rubble, only the strongest brews endure. Ground Zero is a Radioactive III roast... our darkest, boldest level. Built for those who crave intensity in every cup.
This blend harnesses the raw power of high-altitude beans from South America, roasted deep into the void to bring out bold chocolate, smoky caramelized sweetness, and a lingering depth. But the real backbone of this blend is Grade 1 Sumatra Mandheling, delivering an earthy, full-bodied foundation with rich tobacco notes, warming spices, black pepper, and a touch of sarsaparilla and licorice root for a finish that’s as complex as it is relentless.
This is no ordinary dark roast... it’s a post-apocalyptic powerhouse. Whether you're emerging from the wreckage or gearing up for what’s next, Ground Zero is the coffee that keeps survivors standing.
The limited edition can will only be available on the Ground Zero until supplies run out. Standard "clean" cans will then be used.
Please note any coffee that is ordered "ground" will be roasted, then degassed for 72 hours prior to grinding, packaging & shipping.
☢ Brew Guide
Ground Zero
Dark Roast · Radioactive III
Tasting notes: bold chocolate · smoky caramel · sweet, but earthy Sumatra
Dial it in: Keep your ratio steady and grind a touch coarser; that's what keeps a dark roast from going ashy, not less coffee. 6-7 scoops per 10cup pot; or 12-14 tablespoons.
Dial it in: A coarser grind and short steep give a smooth, espresso-like shot of bold chocolate.
House baseline: 60g : 1000ml (≈1:16.7). Keep the ratio steady — let grind do the work: finer for lighter roasts, coarser for darker. Always brew with fresh, filtered water and grind just before brewing.
This is the best coffee I have ever drank. Flavor. Roast. Bitterness. Bright. I love it!

Made a believer out of me
I've never in my life enjoyed black coffee. Always needed some (and usually a lot) of creamer to get it down. But this... this has shown me the light or should I say, the dark. Absolutely amazing! Cannot recommend enough!
